Pottery Painting is a growing trend today, with adults of all ages enjoying the opportunity to paint on bisque to create their own individual masterpiece.

These half day courses offer you all the equipment and expertise you need to take your pieces to the next level. Each class will focus on a different aspect of decorating techniques but each one will help bring your pottery to life with amazing patterns and strong solid colours, making your art POP

Your tutor has a wealth of experience and has been teaching ceramic decoration for over 20 years

These relaxed, fun workshops are perfect for any beginners with no prior experience of pottery decoration but are equally suitable for pottery painters who want to learn some new techniques.

• On the "Marbling with Glazes" class you start the session by laying down bright strong colours to create a great contrast with the delicate marbling to follow. Your solid colours will be sealed by using the potters favourite - wax resist, which will seal the colours before applying the marbling medium.

You will then use our special technique to create a delicate riot of marbled colour before revealing the finished item.

Your designs at the end of each class will be taken away, fired and returned to the shop ready for collection 7 days later

No painting skills are required to complete any of these pieces, but you should be able to use a paintbrush

FOOD: Hot and cold refreshments will be provided during the morning. Alternatively, the shop is situated next to the wonderful Mulberry Tree Cafe where you can purchase delicious drinks and food at reasonable prices, or why not book a table there for lunch?
