Have you ever wanted to try your hand at silver-smithing? Well, now’s your chance!
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and is the perfect introduction to making silver jewellery.
In this workshop you will learn how to make a silver pebble pendant and a charm pendant using traditional silver-smithing techniques. These can then be worn on a chain.
On this half day workshop, you will create one pebble pendant and one charm pendant.
We will start by looking at the materials and tools we’ll be using, followed by a demonstration of all the techniques required to create your own projects. These techniques include: measuring, sawing, filing, soldering, shaping, annealing, forging, texturing, soldering and polishing.
At the end of the workshop, you will have created two beautiful pendants to take home with you.
This course includes enough sterling silver to make two pendants and includes an 18” sterling silver chain.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
Please wear closed toe shoes.
Long hair needs to be tied back.
Bring glasses if needed for close up work.
An apron to protect your clothes will be supplied on the day
The course costs covers material costs to make two pendants, the use of tools and refreshments throughout the day and an 18” chain to use with your pendants
