Anjana Cawdell is a watercolour artist based in Chilwell, Nottingham.

She has been painting in watercolour for nearly 10 years and her nature inspired paintings have found new homes not only in the UK but also internationally.

A member of the Nottingham Society of Artists, Anjana believes watercolour is a fascinating medium and loves to share how exciting painting in watercolour can be.

Each themed workshop has been developed to provide a quiet day of creativity and gentle tuition and this class is specifically tailored to suit a range of different abilities with beginners being very welcome.

After a break for some lunch the afternoon session will start with a painting demonstration from Anjana, painting a scene from a photo reference with particular detail to techniques, dependant on the class subject i.e. bees, birds or woodland scenes.

Following this all participants will create their own piece.

If you have any suitable photo references please feel free to bring them with you on the day.
